Spent last week stuck on a cruise ship with a seemingly unlimited supply of Alcohol and took advantage of the duty free shop to step up my watch game.

It feels a lot bigger than my Victorinox Chronograph and down right gigantic compared to my vintage Rotary Watch, but you get used to the weight pretty quickly. Didn’t like the Automatic at all as it felt almost double the girth so way to bulky.

I think my quartz Tag is as thick as my Rolex.

Yours is an Automatic? The Formula 1 Automatic was about 3 mm thicker, and I felt like I’d catch it on everything.

Quartz. Specifically mentioned that it was quartz.

It might also because my Tag is 42 vs my Rolex at 36, the Rolex wears a lot smaller, obviously.

heh, reading is fundamental it seems.

My Victorinox is also 36mm but is about 1 mm thinner so feels kinda tiny by comparison.

Also, I think since my Rolex wears like its much thinner than my Tag, I’ve convinced myself that it’s actually thinner.

Really wanted to do the same coming back from Mexico earlier this year. They had a Tag store in the airport, and a beautiful blue Aquaracer was staring are me like crazy. Very pretty watch, just couldn’t quite swing it. One day, they are on my radar now.

They were running a deal where if you spend $500 or more, you get a $250 coupon. My father in law bought my mother in law some jewelry so gave me his coupon, on top of 15% off it was a no brainer.
